Parental leave includes unpaid parental leave, special unpaid parental leave, birth-related leave, adoption leave, and still birth-related leave, which eligible employees are entitled to take following the birth or adoption of a child (or in the cases of a stillbirth).

 An eligible employee is entitled to up to 12 months off work (unpaid parental leave), to enable the employee to provide care and support to a child
