With the new changes to the QLD WHS Regulation 2011 regarding the amendments to the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 expand on the existing psychosocial risk provisions by requiring persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) to specifically manage the risk of sexual harassment and sex or gender-based harassment at work.

All persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) must prepare and implement a prevention plan to manage identified risks of sexual harassment and sex or gender-based harassment in the workplace.

PCBUs have a duty to prevent sexual harassment and sex or gender-based harassment from occurring, not only to respond to incidents that have already occurred
