This award covers employers throughout Australia of employees in the joinery and building trades industries and occupations who are covered by the classifications in this award and those employees.

DOES COVER

As such it does cover shop-fitting and stone-masonry work including stone and stone-composite bench-tops work.

Following discussions with the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman;

DOES NOT COVER

This award does not cover businesses in respect of employees engaged in manufacture/installation/repair of in-built furniture including kitchens and built-in wardrobes, where work is done predominantly in the factory.
